Gifted Hands Academy is proud to introduce our High School Senior Shadow Program, designed to give high school seniors the opportunity to observe and learn about careers in the healthcare field through our Certified Phlebotomy Program.

This program allows students to gain real-world exposure to the clinical training environment while observing professional instruction and laboratory practice. Participants will have the opportunity to witness hands-on training techniques used in the phlebotomy program while learning about the responsibilities and expectations of healthcare professionals.

The shadow program sessions take place Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. During their participation, students will practice only on designated training practice arms for demonstration purposes. Students will not perform procedures on one another.

The Gifted Hands Academy High School Senior Shadow Program is an excellent opportunity for students who are interested in exploring careers in healthcare, clinical laboratory sciences, and allied health professions.

Students must complete the High School Senior Shadow Program Application, which requires:
• Student information
• School name and counselor information
• Emergency contact information
• Transportation arrangements
• Parent or guardian authorization
